Policies
Cancellations
We know that sometimes stuff happens and cancellations are necessary. We work with you to accommodate changes in schedule. We would ask that you provide a minimum 24 hours notice for any cancellation or change in your scheduled appointment time. If an appointment is cancelled without appropriate notice, or if an appointment is missed, Tan Luis clients may be subject to a fee up to the full cost of a session. Those clients will also be required to secure any future appointments with a credit card.

Service Guarantee
We don’t just want to meet your expectations; we want to exceed them. If you are disappointed in any way, please contact us and let us know. Our commitment is to you and an end product that you are pleased with. Please note that we cannot guarantee our services if follow-up guidelines are not followed and products are used that are not recommended.

Age of Consent
Tan Luis offers our service to anyone over the age of 13. However, for those under the age of 18, clients are required to wear the top and bottom of their choice during their session. In this case we also require a signature from a parent or guardian on our Client Release and Informed Consent Form.

Pregnancy
There is no known associated risk with the use of DHA during pregnancy, with no reports of any side effects on the pregnant woman or her baby. In fact, in the U.S., DHA has been on the FDA’s list of safe cosmetic ingredients for more than 35 years. We are taking a cautious approach, like many in our industry. Before your spray tan, we would require a note from your physician indicating that you are not advised against a spray tan. We have ingredient lists and other information we can give both you and your doctor to help make an informed decision.

Maintaining a Healthy Environment
When booking your appointment, please inform us of any health concerns you may have. This includes if you are pregnant or nursing, have any allergies or any other medical conditions or physical limitations. This will help prepare your technician to offer you the most appropriate service to meet your needs. As a courtesy to our technicians, please cancel any appointment if you have a cold or flu, or any other communicable illness. Also, if you have any open wounds, please wait until they have sufficiently healed before scheduling an appointment. This policy is in the interest of your protection, that of our technicians and other Tan Luis clients

Payment
Our mobile technicians accept cash or cheque (Visa and MasterCard coming soon). You can also pay for your services online with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal. GST will be added to the cost of servicse purchasd online.

Gratuities
The goal of our spray tan technicians is to offer you a service you are pleased with. Our best advertising is by word of mouth – so we’d be pleased if you could spread the word if you are satisfied with our service. You are under no obligation to offer a gratuity, but feel free to show your appreciation with a gratuity if you so choose.

Privacy
The Tan Luis Team respects the privacy and comfort of everyone we serve. All spray tan sessions are conducted in a privacy tent in a location you choose. All of our client files are confidential; your personal information will not be shared with anyone.
